Mixed Use Development Planned for Route 250 Site in Ashland, Ohio
North Canton based developers, Bob DeHoff and Bill Lemmon, are proposing a thirty-acre mixed use community at the southeast corner of Route 250 and George Road in the City of Ashland.
Mr. Lemmon indicated that preliminary plans for the site will be submitted to the city in May. Included in the development will be a medical office complex, several retail and restaurant sites and a Danbury Senior Living community of approximately 100 units of villa homes, independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments.
DeHoff and Lemmon have developed several mixed-use properties throughout northeast Ohio including North Canton, Cuyahoga Falls, and Brimfield. There are 18 Danbury Senior Living communities in Ohio.
Development of the site would likely start in late 2019, including the medical complex and senior living community.
The site is the last large tract in the Route 250 corridor which has seen significant growth in the last ten years, including national and local chains, plus office and service businesses, attracting shoppers and customers from Ashland and adjacent communities.
